Requirements for the kitchen: Pulses (rajma, all varieties of chana, akka moong, all varieties of vatana, chavli…), cooking oil, sugar, rice, wheat flour, dal, tea powder, coffee powder, masala, turmeric, chilli powder, rye, jeera, rawa, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, poha, milk, milk powder, horlicks, bournvita, complan, jam, butter, eggs, vegetables, seasonal fruits...
Snacks for children: farsan, chivda, chaklis, chips, assorted biscuits, groundnuts, channa, dates, samosas, batatavadas, jalebi, rasgoola, gulab jamun, masala dosa, puranpoli, vegetable sandwich, sukha bhel...
Washing soap powder – Rin, Shakti, Tide, Surf, Excel, or any other.
Bar soaps - Double B, Rin, O.K, Wheel, Sunlight or any other.
Bath soaps – Dettol, Savlon, Medimix, Chandrika, Hamam, Santoor, or any other.
Liquid detergents – Dettol, Savlon, Phenyl, Harpic, Ultra Clean
Other items: Combs, brushes, tooth brushes, toothpaste, black socks, slippers, nycil powder, straw mats, plastic or aluminium buckets
School items : school bags for primary and secondary children, stationery items like gum, glue stick, fevicol, staple pins, paper clips, rubber bands, A-4 size white paper, ball pens, rulers, whitener, black headbands and ribbons, nail cutters…
Clothing : salwar kameez, slacks, nighties, petticoats, innerwear, handkerchiefs, bedsheets and pillow case sets, warm clothes like sweaters and blankets, face towels, bath towels….
Cold creams : Ponds, Nivea, Boro Plus, Vaseline or any other.
Baby items : any products of Johnson & Johnson. Cotton napkins, cotton white cloth, any new cotton small dresses for the age group: 0 to 5 yrs.
Baby Food : Lactogen I and Lactogen II, Cerelac of apple flavour.

A child with HIV - Monthly expenses - Rs. 4500/-
Education fees for a child for one year - Rs.2000/-
Counselling / Therapy for a month – Rs.15,000/-
Vegetarian meal for 400 – children and underprivileged women – Rs. 15,000/-
Special Vegetarian meal for 400 – children and underprivileged women – Rs. 20,000/-
Professional courses – depending on the professional course required at the time viz. Tailoring, Teachers’ training, Nursing…
All financial assistance is eligible for Tax Exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
